Notes from Calendar — notes.kenlauguico.com — Last updated: October 26, 2026
Notes from Calendar ("the app") is a personal productivity app that turns your Google Calendar events into an editable notes list. This policy explains what data the app accesses and how it is handled.
What the app accesses
When you sign in with Google, the app requests access to your Google Calendar (the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar scope). With this access the app can:
- Read your calendar events — including their titles, times, and descriptions — to display them as notes and reminders
- Create, update, and delete calendar events when you add, edit, complete, move, or snooze a note
The app does not access any other Google Account data (email, contacts, Drive, etc.) beyond what is described above.
How your data is used
- Your calendar data is used only to provide the app's core features: showing your notes alongside your calendar and syncing your changes back to Google Calendar.
- Your data is not sold, rented, or shared with any third party.
- Your data is not used for advertising or any unrelated purposes.
- The app does not transfer your data to any other party except as necessary to communicate with Google's Calendar API on your behalf.
Data collection and storage
- The app stores only what it needs to keep you signed in (such as session and token information) on its server.
- Data is transmitted over HTTPS.
- Access tokens are stored securely and used solely to sync with Google Calendar on your behalf.
- The app does not collect analytics or tracking data.
Your choices
- You can revoke the app's access to your Google Account at any time from your Google Account permissions page.
- Revoking access stops all syncing immediately.
